Pelham PACT Summer 2016 Interns

Pelham PACT Coalition’s  application for the 2018 summer internship program is now open!

Creating leadership opportunities for young people is at the heart of PACT’s mission. This summer, PACT is expanding its successful internship program. We’re seeking approximately 10 local high school students (ages 14-18) who want to develop their leadership and job-readiness skills while gaining invaluable work experience.

The internship program is managed by PACT’s Youth Advocate. Following a week-long leadership retreat focused on concepts like self-awareness, relationship building, communication and problem solving skills, our interns will work for 3-4 weeks with community partners who have agreed to host and mentor students. (Our intern partners range from government and civic organizations to education, business, arts, and non-profit organizations.) Interns will be paid minimum wage ($11/hour) for an average of 10 hours a week.

Check out the full details about the summer internship program.

All Pelham teens entering grades 9-12 this fall are encouraged to apply by filling out an application.  The deadline for applications is Thursday, May 31, 2018. If you have any questions about the application, the summer program or other ways to get involved, email Laura Caruso at lcaruso@pelhampact.org.
